Start with a pea-sized amount or pinky fingernail amount.
This is important. If you take too much you might have clumps of product in your hair and that will not give you an even style. Remember, pomades are always better to layer into the hair slowly, so start with a little and add more as you go.

Warm up the product.
No, we don’t want you to put it in the microwave. Evenly spread and emulsify the pomade to the palm of the hands to give the product a little heat, making it easier to disperse through the hair. Spread the product to your fingertips and start running your fingers through your hair.

Rub the product through all your hair including the roots.
When we apply hair products we tend to over apply to the front of our hair because that the part of the hair we see in the mirror, but don’t forget the back! Pro tip: start applying the pomade from the back towards the front of your head to achieve an even coating of the hair.

Use a comb or hair styling tool of your choice.
Comb the hair and set it in place.
